What is Art?

- Everything called ‘art’ (the public)

- All things called ‘art’ by connoisseurs (the expert)

- All things that I call ‘art’ (the self)

- All thing called ‘art’ by artists (museum/gallery)

- All things that common sense tells us is ‘art’ (discriminations of common sense)

- All things that have the intrinsic properties of ‘art’ (qualities of object)

- All things that cause an artistic reaction in the viewer (our asthetic response to objects)
